Yesterdays spiritual Blindness

So Yesterday I studied out Spiritual Blindness. This is a very interesting topic to me

Matthew 6: 22 “The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy,[c] your whole body will be full of light. 23 But if your eyes are unhealthy,[d] your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness!

What are you putting in front of your eyes? What do you watch? What do they call TV, a television program, it does program you, becomes acceptable. Are you aware that what you take in can have a severe impact on your decision making and thought processes? How many lines can you quote from your favorite movie? How about the Bible?

John 12:37-40 Even after Jesus had done all these miraculous signs in their presence, they still would not believe in him. 38 This was to fulfill the word of Isaiah the prophet: “Lord, who has believed our message and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?”[g] 39 For this reason they could not believe, because, as Isaiah says elsewhere:“He has blinded their eyes and hardened their hearts, so they can neither see with their eyes, nor understand with their hearts, nor turn—and I would heal them.”

We have seen the truth and the word and we still just continue to blend into the world and its evil without making an impact or sharing anything. Who is the lost one there. We are blind since we have seen the truth but are not doing anything about it.

2 Corinthians 4:4:The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

So based on this scripture if you do not see God's truth you will likely be used to show other people God's glory?

1 John 2:9-11But anyone who hates a brother or sister is in the darkness and walks around in the darkness. They do not know where they are going, because the darkness has blinded them.

Provberbs 4:10-12- 10 Listen, my son, accept what I say, and the years of your life will be many. 11 I instruct you in the way of wisdom and lead you along straight paths. 12 When you walk, your steps will not be hampered; when you run, you will not stumble. Proverbs 14: 12 There is a way that appears to be right, but in the end it leads to death.

Proverbs 16:9:9 In his heart a man plans his course, but the LORD determines his steps.
